Uncoated, unassembled. Includes the stand, harp bag and strap.

Enjoy the rewarding process of preparing, painting, and building your own electric harp! Whether you love DIY projects or want to create a one-of-a-kind custom electric harp, this kit offers a fun and rewarding way to bond with your Harp·E. This package is for experienced and adventurous DIYers.

The wood in this kit comes completely raw to allow the most freedom in customization. You can truly make this harp yours!


Prepare it:

This harp kit comes with raw, unfinished beech plywood. It requires sanding to prepare the surface for finishing. We recommend sanding to 180–320 grit for best results.


Coat it:

This is your time to shine! Add your own coat, finish, and/or etchings. Please refer to our coating guidelines for recommendations and tips for success.


Build it:

All basic assembly tools are included. While not strictly required, you can make the process easier and faster by using an electric screwdriver with 3mm and 4mm hex bits. After building the harp, you will string, tune and regulate the harp, using our detailed manuals.


Included:

  • Harp-E DIY Uncoated Kit v4, with string set, 2 tuning keys, regulating key, built-in pre-amp+battery, small spare parts
  • Harp bag/backpack: A nifty backpack that securely fits the harp and stand, includes spacious front pocket.
  • Strap and buckles: A simple strap for wearing your harp in the traditional upright position or the delta/guitar position. The strap also doubles as shoulder strap for the harp bag/backpack.


Is this the right package for you?

This package is ideal for experienced woodworkers. If this is not you, we recommend the standard DIY package, which includes a pre-finished wood surface and focuses on assembly only. If you'd rather skip the assembly and go straight to stringing, we recommend the String & Go package. Don’t have the patience to assemble or string? The Plug & Play package might be a better fit for you.

On our finishes

Our finishes intentionally leave a slightly rough texture to prioritize lower costs over a delicate high-gloss appearance.

The natural wood grain is visible through the coating and we absolutely love it that way. If you prefer an alternative finish, you can add it yourself.

You'll receive a confirmation number after placing your order and a tracking number once your Harp-E is dispatched.

EU and UK:  Prices include VAT. Cheap and fast shipping, no customs.

Outside the EU or UK: Buyers may be subject to customs duties and/or tariffs. Please check your local import regulations for the most accurate information on potential additional charges. After shipment, your carrier will reach out if any payment is needed.

Warranty and Returns

All orders are thoroughly inspected to ensure quality. If any issues arise, our dedicated customer service team is available for assistance.

We provide a a full two year warranty on all parts. Our warranty cannot cover damages from self-assembly, self-coating, or string breakage. Individual parts can be returned at our discretion for up to the full price of the product. Restocking fees may apply.
