Harp-E comes pre-assembled. String it and regulate it yourself.

The safe, money-saving option, for the less DIY savvy. Stringing takes ± 1-2 hours. Tuning until stable takes a few minutes each time, once or twice a day for ± 8-12 days.

Is putting together an IKEA piece of furniture not always smooth sailing for you? This option is ideal if you are looking for an affordable harp and you do have some time to string it, but you don't enjoy DIY so much.
We'll provide a clear manual and video on how to put the strings on (a valuable skill to acquire), and of course if you already know how to do this then this option is a complete piece of cake.

For left-handed players: If you need your String & Go assembled for left hand, just specify it in the comment box in the cart page, just before clicking to checkout.

NOTE: ALL BLACK HARP·E ARE CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK. You can still place the order and reserve your harp at the current, old price. We are currently producing a next batch. You will pay the current price instead of the (increased) price for the next batch. However, you will have to wait for some time (around 6 weeks) before this is ready. Alternatively you can order a Natural Wood colour option, which is still in stock (at old price while stock lasts!)

This package includes:

  • Harp·E with its stand, strings, electronics
  • Carrying bag / backpack and the detacheable strap to play standing
  • Battery for the electronic pre-amplifier
  • Strap to wear the Harp·E
  • Assembly and tuning tools
  • Assembly and usage manuals (via QR)

(does not include external electronics like cable and effect pedals)

Shipping

EU:
We ship cheaply across most of Europe (NL, BE, LU, DE, FR, IT, ES, PT, SE, DK, IE, AT, HU, RO, BG, HR, SI, SK, EE, LT, PL, GR).

For the EU all your local taxes are included in the price. You'll receive a tracking number once the order is dispatched and it'll arrive a few days after that.

UK:
Still somewhat aligned with the EU, the process as above with one addition: VAT will be deducted at checkout - so the price you pay will be 20% lower than displayed here. Once at UK customs, you will receive an email from the courier to pay the outstanding VAT balance plus a small admin charge (currently £5). Once paid, customs will release your package and it will arrive in the following days (you'll get updates & options).

US:
The US does not have VAT, but in some cases, in some states, some import duty might be added. This would be a small percentage and the courier (usually this is FedEx) will arrange this for you with your local customs.

Rest of the World:
We do ship worldwide. If your country is not an option at checkout yet, no problem - please get in touch by email and we'll arrange that for you.
Generally the process is the same as US shipping outlined above, but the customs and tax regimes vary greatly per country. However, the shipping company will simply send you a payment link for any duty outstanding and arraneg everything on your behalf.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

It really depends on where you live and what package you order:

EU shipping is very fast, usually a matter of days for DIY.

Shipping outside the EU can at the moment take several weeks, because intercontinental shipping is still in a bit of a pickle - there are old backlogs and new staff shortages across shipping companies, carriers and customs clearance.
We beg you for a bit of patience until things settle. Your Harp·E will arrive!

DIY are stocked to ship immediately. Please note that Plug & Play and currently String & Go packages are built to order. We are a small team and they are in high demand, we currently have several weeks backlog before we can start building yours. But we are working around the clock and you will get your Harp·E!

Returns

All parts and shipments are checked for quality and completeness and should reach you in good condition. We will aim to make right any shortcomings you might spot on arrival and help with any questions you might have.

The aim of this project is to be able to provide affordable quality harps to as many people as possible. We do ask you therefore to take a lenient and collaborative approach to returns and customer service as they significantly drive up costs for us and will reduce our capacity to keep the price down for future generations harpists.

We cannot offer warranty on parts damaged during the DIY assembly process.

NOTE
Plug & Play packages are currently built to order and it will take around 2 weeks before we can ship them. DIY packages are ready for immediate shipping.
The DIY package is great for customisations. Please note however we cannot provide warranty for parts damaged during the DIY assembly process at home. If you're not sure about your DIY skills, we'd recommend the String & Go package. A safer option at similar price.

NOTE: The finish is fairly rough and the wood texture is visible through the coating (Blue Dolphin 2K Oil), we like it that way, but you can add a high-gloss finish yourself.
